De regalo de cumpleaños, Xime le dio a Pato uno de sus sueños: saltar en paracaídas. Si bien no
todos estaban muy convencidos (Max especialmente) y el calor era agobiante, Pato se amarró al instructor y dejó que su cara se deformara al viento y saltó sobre el cielo de Eugene, a 50 km al sur de Corvallis. Aquí van las fotos y el video lo trataremos de subir pronto.

Xime’s birthday present for Pato fulfilled one of his dreams: To skydive. Despite a bit of resistance from some family members (namely Max), and the scorching heat, Pato got strapped to his instructor and let his face to be deformed by the wind, jumping over the clear Eugene skies. Here are the pics and hopefully the video will be here shortly.

Y se fue Junio y Diciembre se acerca a pasos agigantados. Pero no nos faltaron cosas que hacer
y aquí va el poutpurri habitual del mes, incluyendo la ida a Enchanted Forest y la Gimnasia de Bea.

So June is gone and December is looming around de corner. More sun meant that we were out and
doing a ton of things so here is the usual poutpurri, including the trip to Enchanted Forest and Bea’s gymnastics.

Otro fin de semana de calor otra escapada. Esta vez al Acuario de Newport por enésima vez. Claro
que como los chicos son mas grandes, esta vez lo disfrutaron a concho. Nos tomó como veinte minutos sacar a Max de la primera sala solamente. Luego de eso, a jugar un poco en la playa, donde Bea quedó muy desilusionada de que no hubieran conchitas. Habrase visto playa semejante!

Another weekend, another time we took off. This time to Newport and the Aquarium. It wasn’t our first, but since the kids are growing, this time they really enjoyed it. Max didn’t even want to leave the first room. After the Aquarium, we went to the beach to play a little, although Bea was utterly dissapointed that there were no seashells. C’est pas posible!

A mediados de mes nos escapamos con los Concha a Silver Falls, donde aprovechamos de mojarnos
las patunas y tratar de convencer a Max de que nada iba a pasar. En lo último no nos fue muy bien,
pero en todo lo demás nos fue excelente.

Around mid June we ran to Silver Falls with the Concha family, where we timidly wetted our feet
and also tried to convince Max that everything was safe. We had little succes on the later, but everything else was perfect.

Este Sabado fuimos a la casa de Joe & Myra a la tradicional fiesta de fin de año del programa de Pato.
Dado que es probable que sea la última vez que asistimos a este evento,decidimos retratar a todos
los personajes, de manera de que esto sirva para la memoria colectiva. 

Como dicen en Francia

This saturday we went over Joe & Myra’s for the almost traditional end of the year party of the
Coastal and Ocean group. Considering that it is highly likely it was going to be our last, we took
the chance to practice portraiture , with the hope that this would help our collective memory.

No se asusten, el titulo corresponde al nombre de una cancion de Cocteau Twins.
La cosa es que con la llegada de la Primavera ha salido el sol y nos hemos aventurado un poco mas a salir, y por tanto a tomar mas fotos.
La mayoria de las fotos eso si son del tipo retratos, ya que hemos querido estirar un poco nuestras piernas en este tipo de fotografia.

Don’t worry, the title of this post has nothing to do with what really happened, is just the title of a Cocteau Twins’s song.

Usually spring means more sun, so we have ventured to go out a little bit more, and that also means more pictures. However, most of them are portraits, which is one of the areas of photography where we wanted to strectch our legs a bit.
